Cache Flow

The short version

Cache Flow collects no personal data. Your financial data is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM. Nothing is sent to any server. No account required.

What data is stored

All data is stored locally on your device only:

• Recurring income and expense entries you create
• Transaction history and payment records
• App preferences (theme, currency, etc.)

All financial data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with a key derived from your password via PBKDF2 (310,000 iterations). The app never transmits your financial data anywhere.

External requests

Cache Flow makes a small number of network requests for live market data:

• Bitcoin price: Fetched from CoinGecko or Coinbase public APIs.
• Currency exchange rates: Fetched from frankfurter.app.

These requests contain no personal or financial data. They are simple price lookups.

No tracking or analytics

Cache Flow contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting services, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

No accounts

Cache Flow does not require you to create an account or provide an email address. Your password is used solely to derive an encryption key on your device.
